Privacy policy

GoalCompass stores the goals, milestones, tasks, and account details you provide so we can deliver coaching, planning, and progress tracking.

What we collect

  • Account email and authentication data
  • Goal content you enter (which may include personal, financial, career, family, or health-related details)
  • Usage and billing metadata needed to operate the product

How we use it

  • To provide GoalScore analysis, milestone/task generation, and dashboard suggestions
  • To enforce plan limits and process Premium billing
  • To improve reliability and support when you contact us

Your controls

You can edit or delete goals, request password resets, and request account deletion from Settings. For privacy questions, use the Contact page.

Google user data

Google Calendar sync is optional and available on Premium. When you connect Google, GoalCompass requests your Google account email and Calendar access so we can identify the connected account, confirm which calendar to use, and create, update, or remove all-day events for selected goal, milestone, and task due dates.

  • Access: Google account email plus Calendar scopes needed to manage GoalCompass-created events and read your calendar list.
  • Use: Only to power Google Calendar sync for your GoalCompass plan dates. We do not use Google user data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
  • Storage: We store OAuth tokens, the connected Google account email, and mappings between GoalCompass items and Google event IDs so sync can stay accurate.
  • Sharing: Event content you sync is sent to Google so it can appear on your calendar. Google’s handling of that data is governed by Google’s policies. We do not share Google user data with other third parties for their own purposes.
  • Controls: You can disconnect Google Calendar anytime from Settings, which revokes GoalCompass access for future syncs.

Email reminders

If you enable daily reminders in Settings, we email your account address when you have overdue or due-today work, including your recommended next action. You can turn reminders off anytime.
